In Europe, the AirTractor is not an unknown aircraft type and has already proven itself here. Skynovia will permanently station up to 4 of these aircraft in Germany for the annual fire season and be ready for use 24/7. We have the option of making the underbody of these aircraft "bulletproof" so that we can also fly firefighting missions over areas that may be contaminated with old ammunition. Finally, our crews have many years of experience from numerous missions in Australia, which guarantees the effective and safe execution of missions
After a long period of preparation, three TransAll C160 aircraft were sold to Australia in December, where they are now being converted for use as firefighting aircraft. After this project was successfully completed, the idea and desire arose to acquire 2 more TransAll C 160s. These aircraft are now to be stationed, converted, and certified in Germany to effectively support firefighting in Germany and Europe.
